Putting Paris Hilton in Perspective

This is one of my favorite clips from the Colbert Report. I love the way Steven Colbert finds himself unable to maintain his persona in the face of Tommy Chong's keen analysis of Paris Hilton's drunk driving arrest. My thanks to the McCain campaign for an excuse to post it.

    Why do you think FOX News love to have Tommy Chong on their network so often? I'm guessing because they know that at any point in the interview, they can just say, "you, sir, are high on marijuana," then, in their viewers' eyes, they have 'won' the interview.

    Not only have they won the interview, but they have conclusively proved that all liberal are stoners and all liberal policies are the product of stoned thinking.
