I can't help but wonder whether she only decided to become a "reformer" after she saw her fellow Republicans getting indicted.Vinnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08955726889682177434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9118409153657833547.post-73850359978746929922008-09-01T19:40:00.000-05:002008-09-01T19:40:00.000-05:00Hi Gang:True corruption fighters tend to piss of m...Hi Gang:

True corruption fighters tend to piss of more people than she has

So true! When a situation calls for a giant howitzer to eliminate the "enemy", she is running around with a pea shooter and gets applauded and the nomination for VP. She is "safe" because she isn't getting any where.

When the Canadian conservative right knew that there was no chance they would win the next election, they figured they would earn some browny points for the future by choosing a woman to run for Prime Minister. She surprised them by winning, albeit, not for very long because her minority government quickly lost a confidence vote and the Conservatives were booted out of power. (Women may have helped by voting for her the first time around but they quickly learned she wasn't the brightest bulb in the box)

There are many advantages to a system where non-confidence results in calling an election. For example, US America has a system where the President may not control either house, but he can keep on governing.

If Palin ever gets to Washington (which is highly unlikely) the spin doctors will be able to fabricate a history about her contributions to "women's rights". YUK!!! Knowing that she won't win, they are getting a head start writing about her "courageous fight"!antonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02909850387414677663noreply@blogger.com
